How the app works

The table, characters, combat, dice, maps, story, voice and accounts. What every player should read.

  1. The tableThe screen you play on: the chronicle, the four message modes, Ask the DM, the side panel's tabs, the voice dock, and how the same table lays out on a phone.

  2. Characters and the builderBuilding a character step by step, what the builder insists on, the sheet during play, the character library, portraits, exports, and playing more than one character.

  4. DiceThe 3D dice, your own dice look, where each roll comes from (the app, typed physical dice, or Pixels Bluetooth dice), shake to roll on a phone, holding rolls, and the campaign's dice policy.

  6. Story, chapters and memoryHow the AI Dungeon Master keeps a story straight: the secret story arc, acts and chapters that close on story beats, the table language, what it remembers and how, recaps, the story archive, and exporting a finished campaign.
